Dancer, choreographer and researcher Olga de Soto is revisiting a section of her own career here, addressing her accompanied solo to a young audience. A succession of physical and playful experiences structures the piece in which the dancer, accompanied by another person equipped with props and sound objects filled with water, becomes an explorer, like a scientist in a laboratory. The possibilities of her body and the resistance of materials are fields of experimentation punctuated by simple objects and establish a dialogue. The various states (liquid, gas), the properties of the material (elasticity, stiffness), slowness or speed, suspension or precipitation, inside or outside, the very large and the miniscule, the proximity or distance of the image and sound, the flexibility of the space zooming in and out are all methods used in this journey proposed by Olga de Soto, a journey that is “full of suspense, fun and poetry”.
