Jérôme Brabant

Jérôme Brabant was born on La Réunion in 1973. After studying drama, he trained at the Marcel Marceau School of Mime then took the “Extensions” programme at the CDC Toulouse/Midi-Pyrénées. Jérôme has performed for Marco Berrettini, Patricia Ferrara and Samuel Mathieu, and since 2012 for Mié Coquempot. In 2011, he set up his own company L’Octogonale and produced his first solo, Heimat, followed by Impair (2014) and Emergency (2015). In the same year, Jérôme joined Marion Muzac’s team as an assistant on the project Ladies first. In collaboration with Maud Pizon, they created the piece A Taste of Ted in November 2017 based on a reconstruction of the dances of Ruth St. Denis and Ted Shawn.
