Following Salutations Mistinguettes, alongside seven young dancers Stéphanie Auberville continues her exploration of Maurice Béjart’s Boléro. M-81, the codename for Ravel’s piece, is the new password for this updated version loosely based on the original. Offering a woman’s perspective on this story of seduction and bewitchment, M-81, fills a gapas the piece plays genders and desire, all with the joy and energy of youth.
