Katalin Ladik, the “Yoko Ono of the Balkans” and a pioneer of performance art in her region, caused a scandal in 1970 at the UFO Party happening. She performed her vocal piece half naked, made the body itself the text and material, and applied the UFO as a metaphor for her self. Based on work with archive material, the artists Jule Flierl and Irena Z. Tomažin, also vocal and dance performers, pay homage to the modernity of UFO Ladik.
