TP #4 — Silly Landscape

This workshop, proposed by Gaël, will essentially revolve around improvisation techniques and the setting of the body in situation. The individual and collective research will focus on the mechanisms that allow the emergence of involuntary absurdities in the movement but also the voice. How to use one’s brain to put one’s body back in the place of discovery, of the new and of uncensorship. Aspects of bodies being contradicted or used against the grain will also be discussed.

In essence, this workshop will be an opportunity for each person to explore their own body language and to detach themselves as much as possible from notions of judgement and ego.

The week will tend to elaborate a space of freedom and sharing favourable to the appearance of our own dysfunctions in order to better exploit them.

Gaël has practiced circus arts, dance, theater and singing; anyone who practices dance is welcome, but people interested in this approach who do not practice dance are also welcome.
