Slow Show

To bring the season to a close, Charleroi danse is offering a unique performance brought to us by Dimitri Chamblas. An experiment in slowness and the collective, a kaleidoscopic portrait of a micro society, Slow Show unites an ephemeral community around a physical practice and an artistic proposition. Some fifty participants from Charleroi and the surrounding area are invited to take part in a week-log workshop and experiment together on different states of the body, rhythms and intensities…

A human landscape moving almost imperceptibly, Slow Show is a heterogeneous tableau vivant, a meditative dance that makes the invisible suddenly appear out of the slowness, revealing a territory and the singularity of its inhabitants.
