At a time when we feel completely destabilised and serious alarms are being raised about our future, what is happening to the resistance of bodies? If, like children, we were to observe and experience the slow and patient construction of a form followed by its swift collapse, like a Jenga tower, what states, images, emotions and reactions would we go through?

In Collapse, Julien Carlier, associate artist at Charleroi danse, is looking for our points of stability and collapse, interested as always by exploring limits and questioning our sensitivity and gravity.
In this show, the dancers turn themselves into body objects, capable of being manipulated and manipulating, within a stage design conceived like a playground offering both freedom and constraints.
In search of rising up, standing or collapsing, stable or unstable, whatever our position or intention, according to the choreographer “all of us are dancing all the time to keep our balance.”
