Adagio per un Nuovo Millennio – Capitolo Due

Following on from two previous participatory forms by the company Wooshing Machine, Mauro Paccagnella, Monia Montali and Lisa Gunstone have set about writing the next chapter of the Adagio per un Nuovo Millennio, this “ode to the multiplicity of the connection” that was spawned in 2021.
A choreographic act created with the involvement of groups of people (some twenty amateur dancers), this new opus rests on the simple practice of imitation to unleash and inspire empathy, invent a novel anthropology of the relationship, and experiment with a “new way of living”. Close up or at a distance, in the recognition of singularities and the celebration of chorality, this is how the Italian-British-Belgian trio intends to accompany the germination of a new story of the encounter through movement.
