Marion Sage

 

After training in choreography at the Abbaye de Royaumont in 2015-2016, she undertook research at the Théâtre du Vivat (Armentières) as part of the “Pas-à-pas” scheme run by Drac Hauts-de-France in 2016-2017.
In 2017-2018, she received support from Happynest, a platform for up-and-coming artists led by the theatre group Superamas. After graduating with a masters in dance from the University of Paris 8, she embarked on a doctorate in dance studies at the Free University of Berlin in 2010-2011. In parallel with this, she performed in various projects by the visual artist Lynda Amer Meziane.
In 2011, she received a doctoral contract from the University of Lille, and completed her dissertation in 2017 entitled Critiques of dance and critical dances in 1930s France under the co-supervision of Anne Boissière and Isabelle Launay. She is currently teaching in the dance department at the University of Lille as a research and teaching assistant. Since 2013, she has been assisting choreographers with their creative processes (Danya Hammoud and Thibaud Le Maguer).
