Daniel Larrieu

 

Born in Marseille, Daniel Larrieu is an unmis- sable choreographer on the French scene, with over fifty pieces in his repertoire, including Waterproof, Anima ou Delta, On était si tranquille. As a performer for Régine Chopinot or more recently Thomas Lebrun, he also collaborates on more experimental theatrical, visual or pedago- gical projects. From 1994 to 2002, he directed the Centre Chorégraphique National de Tours. After receiving several awards, including the Grand Prix National de la Danse, and Officier des Arts et des Lettres, Daniel Larrieu was also raised to the rank of Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, on 30th December 2017.
