When it premiered in 2004, No Paraderan certainly resulted in plenty of ink and alcohol flowing. In a manifesto of the NO, Marco Berrettini introduced eight dancers in mourning for their own role. Like The Rat Pack popular in American casinos in the 1950s, the performers endeavour to ascertain in public everything they are not going to do, in front of a curtain that draws back in terror or pleasure.
