After Happy Hour and El Pueblo Unido Jamás Será Vencido, Mauro Paccagnella and Alessandro Bernardeschi are now completing their trilogy of memory, also known as the trilogy of fifty-year-olds, with Closing Party. Ending, running out of steam, fulfilment, indeed perhaps a new beginning. This polysemic “closing party” will be presenting characters and performers simultaneously with all the depth and lightness that this
duo have managed to construct and share over the years. Exploring their favourite themes of “passing time, the changing body, therefore death – art often talks about death, the solidest thing life has invented

Heralding here the presence or contribution of Bach and Velvet Underground, of Proust and the Mediterranean, of incipient fascism, human migrants, Netflix – and much, much more besides.
